I’m heading out to Reno tomorrow for a few days for SC07. For the past few months a few of us have been working with POVRay to create files for groups of students to render out on supercomputer clusters that they have built for the conference, as part of a competition. Should be fun, and a little different than my last school trip.

I went to Russian River this weekend with a bunch of friends, and got incredibly sunburned. But a sunburn is a small price to pay for a really fun weekend canoeing and camping with friends. Read the rest of this entry »

Unfortunately, I was not able to post anything while I was there because a) internet connections were few and far between and b) I had a total of about 10 minutes the entire trip to check my email, we were so busy. Lunch with my good buddy, Josh

So, I am heading out for Europe tomorrow to do a couple of things. I will be posting updates and pictures here as often as I can, depending on what kind of connectivity I can get over there. See you on the other side.

So barrring some unforseen event, I am going to be going to Europe this June for some of the art fairs. I will be going to the Venice Biennale, Art Basel, Documenta, and skulptur projekte muenster. I will be going with my dean, Okwui Enwezor, who curated Documenta 11, and so we will be meeting with a lot of the artists and curators as we go to these different places. I am very excited about this, and it looks like it’s going be a lot of fun.

I’m a couple of days late in posting about the this, but I just got back from LA, and have some pictures from the trip up on my Flickr page. I had a great time down there, and miss everyone already. See you all next time!
