Another Round

I’ll be honest, I don’t know why yet, but I like to document the injuries that I have been accumulating as a result of my epilepsy, such as this one and a previous one. For the past year and half/two years, I have also been collecting the bottles of anti-convulsants that I have to take every day. To what end, I’m not sure. I’m sure that at some point, it will allow me some perspective, but in the immediate, I think that it allows me to work through a lot of things. I will be sure to post something if I figure any of this out.

Back from Seattle

My Aunt Diana and late Uncle Ray’s barn.

I’m back from Seattle, done with the holidays, and eager to get going on some new projects. I hope to get some of the things that I have finished up (more of a matter of figuring out how to document them, and how best to showcase that in a blog setting), as well as finish off some things that I have been working and get those up. Anyways, as this is a blog cum personal slideshow, I have some photos from the trip after the jump.

SC07

IMG_2316

I’m back from Reno. The conference was fun. We got to meet a lot of cool people, see a lot of interesting things, and hopefully we can do it again next year in Austin. I got to nerd out for a few days, and not worry about art and The Larger Dialog. A nice break before finals, really, despite the fact that we all got very little sleep the whole time.

Nathan

My younger brother, Nathan, was in town last week. Among other things, he was doing the interview portion of the application process to get into the school that I am currently attending. Hopefully, in a years time, he will be going there also.

The Russian River

&Allie and Eric

I went to Russian River this weekend with a bunch of friends, and got incredibly sunburned. But a sunburn is a small price to pay for a really fun weekend canoeing and camping with friends. Read the rest of this entry »

The Great American Pastime

Last night marked my first trip to AT&T Park for a SF Giants game. (I have been doing a fair amount of SF firsts for me lately, it seems like) However, only in a ballpark in SF would you find wine and lobster for sale in the concession stands. I mean c’mon now people, this is baseball.

The Zoo

IMG_1923Stephanie and the polar bears

My friend Stephanie and I went on a little trip down to the San Francisco Zoo on Monday. Surprisingly, it was my first time down there. Despite the issues with San Francisco’s less-than-stellar public transportation, we had pretty enjoyable time there.

Zane

IMG_1762

My best friend Zane was just in town for a few days, doing sound and tour managing. It was really good to see him, and catch up. He lives in LA and tours for a good part of the year, so we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like to. So having him in town for two days was a real treat.
