So, next week is the opening of the big show that I have been working on for the past few months.  This was my baby, and I am curating/organizing/artist wrangling this one with a number of amazing people, most notably my co-conspirator on this Taylor Tschider.

For the show, we wanted to focus on the idea of the local. What does it mean to be from, and to live in, a particular place? What does it mean to interact with the world as an individual, an artist, and a citizen in this time of “the world is flat” globalization.  Over 30 artists have worked cross-media and created work that address these issues around the local.

A day late and a dollar short and all of that….

But things have been busy, and I haven’t had time to update this as much as I would like to.  At any rate, I have some work (specifically a sound piece) up at Kicker Studio here in SF.  It’s a great show headed up by my friend Jody Medich.
